rip the flesh from my bones
don’t wanna see what’s inside
facing the mirror
i can’t run, I can’t hide
i’m nothing but a bloody mess
i am begging and pleading
but there’s too much cacophony
to find my tranquility
so I stagnate instead
i’m nothing but a stream of words
is this how the book ends
on the outside looking in
thoughts so scattered
i feel like an alien
f^ck you i’m trying
life is just passing me by
i’m holding on to the insane thought
that everything will make sense in the end
but life is just a delusional lie
i’m drowning in my own vomit
i look around and see the familiar
but it just fades in and out
so hard to hold on to
my inner resolutions
what’s the f^cking point
faces filled with individual beauty
filling me up with thoughts so falsely
created from a mind so incongruous
will I ever be sure of anything
is there anything that’s real?
